Online Tools for classroom interactivity
Prezi available at: http://prezi.com/mho5wvycxhdz/using-social-media-to-teach-english
Blogs and other social media can be utilized to help
student engage in learning. It is no
secret that modern children are very interested in technology. Leveraging that interest you can increase
both the level of learning and interest.
Blogs are an excellent way for students to practice their writing skills
as well as a place for parents to see their child's progress. Twitter is another place where students can
receive short (140 character) updates that don't overwhelm them and yet still
be able to respond with equally short replies.
